What if I told you there's a church in Vegas that would accept you just as you are, no strings attached? That would show you (from the Bible) that God isn't ever mad at you and that He is actually very pleased with you? A church that would help you reach your full potential no matter how long it takes?
Good News! Grace Church is here!
I don't know what you've heard about grace, but allow me to take a moment to share with you what grace means to us. For us, grace is the foundation for everything we do - how we live, how we treat one another, and how we relate to God our Father.
Have you ever visited a church and just felt out of place? The message left you feeling rotten, like God was so disappointed in you and you had a lot of work to do before you could be pleasing to Him. If not, consider yourself lucky. I've experienced that more times than I care to remember, and so has many of our partners here at Grace Church.
Let me share some good news with you: God is so pleased with you right now! He loves you more than you can understand. God loves all of humanity so much, He likes YOU so much that He makes His home in you. Every human being, without exception, black or white, male or female, straight or gay, old or young, rich or poor, is included in God's love and His life. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more - He's already totally obsessed with you.
At Freedom Life Grace Church you will only hear good news. We are a family that will celebrate with you during good times, and be there with you during challenges. We are building a community that loves, and loves well. You are invited to be a part of this exciting time.
Our Pastor dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal - helping people connect with God and each other so that they might reach their full potential. With the help of the Core Dream Team, Freedom Life Grace Church began its work on June 7, 2014. That first Saturday 1 person attended our first interest meeting. From the beginning, Freedom Life Grace Church focused on reaching out to the non-churched community by building relationships through spending time one-on-one outside of the building walls. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of services, and the unique style of Freedom Life Grace Church brought people together who had previously given up on "church."
We believe that life begins to be the most exciting, the most fulfilling, and the most fun when a person begins to connect to the purpose for which God made them. This connection simply begins with curiosity - "Is there a God and if so why did he make me?" - and it's followed by a step toward the Creator.
We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion!
OUR PURPOSE
"I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be
no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought."
- 1 Corinthians 1:10 (NIV)
WHY WE EXIST AS A CHURCH
The purpose statement of Freedom Life Grace Church is derived from the words of the Apostle Paul to the church at Corinth (2 Corinthians 5:18). These words are the application of Jesus' Great Commission (Mark 16:15).
Freedom Life Grace Church exists to introduce people to Jesus, share His life-giving message, facilitating the ministry of reconciliation.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
1. The gospel we preach is God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.
2. Reconciling is restoring friendly relations between two or more parties.
3. Preaching is proclaiming or announcing.
4. "We are Christ's ambassadors" means we speak for God.
Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." - Mark 16:15
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin) to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
We look forward to getting to know you… see you soon at Vegas' Grace Church.
